The text, graphics, images, videos, and other material contained on the Makis Medical website are for informational and educational purposes only. FOR CONSULTATION PATIENTS: When you engage in a paid In-Person or Telemedicine Consultation with Dr. William Makis and the clinical team, the specific guidance, protocols, and roadmaps provided to you directly do constitute personalized medical consulting. However, the general information on this website does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and you agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You are responsible for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.

4. Consultations, Fees, and Payment Policies

Makis Medical offers specialized consulting services including In-Person Consultations and Telemedicine Consultations.

• Fees: The fees for our consultation services are strictly outlined on our Consultation Options page. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, but price changes will not affect previously booked and paid consultations.
• Payment Terms: All fees are due at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and other secure electronic payment methods.
• Insurance (Out-of-Network): Makis Medical operates strictly as an out-of-network provider. We do not bill insurance companies directly. Upon request, we will provide you with an itemized "superbill" containing necessary diagnostic and procedural codes, which you may submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. We make no guarantees regarding insurance reimbursement.
• Cancellation Policy: Consultations must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the consultation price.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the website in any medium, including without limitation by any automated or non-automated "scraping."
• Using any automated system, including without limitation "robots," "spiders," "offline readers," etc., to access the website.
• Transmitting spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited email.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the website.
• Taking any action that imposes, or may impose at our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
• Uploading invalid data, viruses, worms, or other software agents through the website.
• Impersonating another person or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity, conducting fraud, hiding or attempting to hide your identity.
